Orders For Anti Riot Units




  • ON THE GROUND (go down from the vehicles and assume cover back position);
  • ON LINE (deployment in front of the vehicles);
  • DOUBBLE LINE (two squads move in DL);
  • RHOMB (4 operators are moving back to back in defensive position);
  • WEDGE ( 4 operators are moving looking forward in active position);
  • FORMATION( deployment of the unit- platoon);
  • TONFA (show it up closed or open);
  • DOWN (the first line open the PR-24 “tonfa” forward and the second line open the PR-24 “tonfa” tonfa in backwards);
  • FORWARD (the unit advances beating the PR-24 “tonfa” on the shield and the left foot on the ground);
  • FORWARD BY STEP ( the unit is moving forward starting with left foot and they beat on shield after four counting);
  • STOP (the unit stops and every elements has to check the correct distance),
  • BACK (the unit moves backwards. The elements in the 2nd line grab the belt of the first line elements);
  • REDEPLOYMENT OPPOSITE FRONT FROM LEFT OR RIGHT –GO (the elements move in the opposite front has a train formation, quickly from the first line’s operator on left or on right. They have to consider the presence of the vehicles behind):
  • REDEPLOYMENT LEFT/RIGHT FRONT FROM RIGHT OR LEFT (the elements move in the right or left front has a train formation, quickly from the first line’s operator on left or right. They have to consider the presence of the vehicles behind);
  • MASK (the first line take one step forward and assume protection position with sloping shields 45° the second line put down the shield and on it set the equipment tonfa-helmet and wear the anti-gas mask. When the operation is over each operator squeeze the element in front of him and assume his position);
  • HEAPING (all components of the platoon close the spaces with the shields putting on their from left to right);
  • TURTLE (the first line of the platoon go down leaning the shields on the ground in vertical position closing all spaces. After few seconds the second line put on the shields over the shields of the first line closing all spaces. The others operators have to do the same operations);
  • UP (all operators go up and return in ready position);
  • RESOLUTIVE CHARGE (all operators lift their arms with the tonfa baton opened and begin to run against the rioters shouting and keeping compact the platoon, without to go to much forward);
  • SHORT CHARGES (various times for five meters and movements are the same of the resolutive charge);
  • ALTERNATE SHORT CHARGES (the first formation of the platoon composed from 3 squads begin to run with the tonfa raised and opened covering a distance of 5-6 meters. In the same time one manoeuvre unit close the space between the two formations, when the first formation stop the charge the second formation composed from the others 3 squads begin the charge in the same way);
  • ATTIVATION (in case of armed threat all operators must converge toward the centre of the formation leaving free the external corridors for intervention of security squads);
  • ON THE VEHICLE (all operators go into the vehicle in rapid way and take their sit in order of squad);
  • ON THE GROUND (all operators of two squads go down of the vehicle following a specific order and form up themselves behind the vehicle in form of upside down wedge. The squad leader’s could order “in line in front of
    the vehicle” .In this case the two squads go forward quickly and assume the double line position in front of the vehicle. The thrower and the driver remain in their position);
  • THROWERS READY (this is a specific order for the thrower. The throwers stay ready with the gas grenade);
  • GAS (the throwers start to shoot from the vehicle with the special rifle for the gas grenade. In another case one operator of the manoeuvre unit start to throw the gas grenade with the hands);
  • MONOUVRE READY (the manoeuvre units must be ready for various tips of interventions, for example capture inspection tactical reconnaissance ect.)
  • REINFORCEMENT (the commander can use a squad of reserve or if there is a critical situation in front of the platoon all reserve. For example when a operator is injured the commander change all squad of the wounded operator with a new squad of the reserve);
  • EXTINGUISHER (when the commander order extinguisher the fire-fighter operator goes out from the platoon and provide to stop the fire with opportune fire-fighting techniques);

OPENING ( all operators form up themselves in chess board formation to close the street ).
